NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs April 27

Last night, the Eastern Conference had two more teams advance to the Conference Semifinals. The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Bulls last night to win the series 4-1. It was a surprising move by Derrick Rose down the stretch when the Bulls trailed by three to drive the lane and go up with the left. That one just fit the situation. If you have 20 seconds or so shoot a three and if you miss get the rebound and go up. Or you can either get it down low to the little post presence the Bulls have or get a mid-range jumper. Nobody expected to see the Bulls win the series so no surprise there. But one thing that is surprising and is worrying some Cavs fans is the health of LeBron James' elbow. It is a minor sprain or something worse? I never have showed support to the Cavs and honestly I was more hoping that the Bulls would win this series but I hope that LeBron can return in time to make the postseason more interesting. The Boston Celtics last night advanced to the next round behind Ray Allen's 24 points and Paul Pierce threw in 21. Every starter in the lineup for Boston had double figures except Kendrick Perkins. Throw that all together and consider the 20 point lead they had in the third quarter and that makes for a pretty good ball game for Boston. So all in all, the Celtics and Cavaliers join the Magic in the Conference Semifinals. Tonight the Bucks and the Hawks square off with the series deadlocked at two. Lastly in the Western Conference tonight, my wishes go out to the Denver Nuggets as I hope they win so that Coach Karl can coach them before the season is done.
